Double Hockey Stix is a brand and community of action. When we see injustices in the world, we want to help correct them. Will we be right all the time? No. Can we take action all the time? No, not realistically. But we can help others connect and learn about the causes we support to continue giving back.

 

Our Current Main Causes (May 4, 2026):

•Demand an official Abuse Policy in the NHL Rulebook
•Support/Resources for sexual assault victims and survivors
•Land Back & Indigenous Soverigntey, Hockey as an Indigenous sport
•Black Lives Matter; Racism in Hockey Culture
•Free Palestine, Sudan, Congo - no one is free until we all are free
•Mutual Aid Support for local Southern California residents impacted by ICE RAIDS

UPDATED REQUESTS (5/10/26): Brooke and her children received enough help to get long-term shelter and began moving on on May 9th.

Brooke is a mother of 4 and a victim of medical racism and neglect. The governmental systems around aiding her have failed her and her children every step of the way, in procuring long-term housing, as well as short-term. Struggling with a TBI and chronic illness, she cannot work to get the funds she needs for long-term housing.
We have been helping secure Brooke with this goal of long-term housing since January of 2026, and now she finally has a chance to obtain that with fundraising of $2,200.
